January 2025
Poetry - "Tokitae" and "I killed today"
My poems "Tokitae" and "I killed today" have been accepted to the online gallery for THE NATURE OF OUR TIMES: Poems on America's Lands, Waters, Wildlife, and Other Natural Wonders project. Note that "Tokitae" first appeared in Lit Shark Magazine's Issue 8: The SHARK WEEK Edition and "I killed today" first appeared in Lit Shark Magazine's The Best of 2024 Anthology.

They are currently being considered for publication in the Fall 2025 anthology by Paloma Press, a companion to the First National Nature Assessment (NNA1) draft report being released at the same time. Anthology decisions should be made at or around the end of February 2025.

Poetry - "Animals on Vacation"
My poem, "Animals on Vacation", is featured in SEVENSEAS Media's Issue 116 - January 2025, Women in Conservation special issue. The two photographs on the poem's page were taken by me on Hilton Head Island, SC (July 2024), which is where and when I first started writing this poem. Available to read online for free; enjoy!

My poem "Tokitae" was selected for Lit Shark Magazine's Best of 2024 Anthology! To meet the theme of 'something old, something new, something to sink your teeth into', my new poem "I killed today" is published alongside "Tokitae" in this anthology.

Flash Fiction - "Of Horse Girls and Honeysuckles"
My flash fiction debut, "Of Horse Girls and Honeysuckles", is featured in The Blotter Magazine (December 2024). The Blotter runs mainly on subscription and as a regional nonprofit distributing to libraries in the American South, so you need to email the editorial team to purchase physical copies.
But it's available to read digitally for free!
